A dedicated trailer is an expensive way to move six pallets. Our Italian groupage service puts your consignment alongside others on a scheduled Delphic run, at a fraction of the cost of a full load.

Most of it is Italy to UK freight: importers, distributors and UK buyers bringing Italian goods across. We collect anywhere in Italy, consolidate at our Bellusco hub near Milan and deliver anywhere in the UK. The service runs to Italy from the UK as well, from a single pallet upwards.

Our trucks work the industrial north: Lombardy, Piedmont, Veneto and Emilia-Romagna, taking in Milan, Bergamo, Brescia, Turin, Verona and Bologna. That is where our vehicles run day to day, so transit times for northern Italy freight are short and dependable.

If your freight sits outside that area it is still straightforward. We arrange a groupage collection from anywhere in Italy into our Bellusco hub, just outside Milan, where it joins the next trailer north. The service and the paperwork are the same wherever in Italy you load.

In the UK we collect nationwide, with same-day positioning across Cheshire, Greater Manchester, Merseyside, Staffordshire and the Midlands.

Italian groupage: common questions

What is groupage?

Groupage means sharing a trailer with other consignments instead of hiring the whole thing. You pay for the space your pallets occupy, which is far cheaper than a dedicated load when you have less than a full trailer.

How many pallets can I send?

Anything from a single pallet up to most of a trailer. If your consignment grows to a full load we'll simply quote it as one.

How often do you run?

We run a scheduled service in both directions, and we can collect any day of the week in both the UK and Italy. Call the traffic office for the current cut-off times.

How quickly can freight get from Italy to the UK?

A collection late in the week around Milan is normally on the floor in the UK early the following week. Other Italian collection points work to similar timings depending on the day. Ring the traffic office with your collection point and we will give you the dates for that week.

Do you collect from anywhere in the UK?

Yes, we collect nationwide, with the shortest positioning runs from Cheshire, the North West and the Midlands.

What if my freight is not in northern Italy?

Our trucks work northern Italy, but we can arrange a groupage collection from anywhere in Italy into our Bellusco hub near Milan, where it joins the next trailer for the UK.
